Eco-Design Directive (EuP) was replaced by Energy-related Products Directive (ErP) 2009/125/EC on November. 20, 2009. The EuP covered microwave oven, washing machine, television and other energy-using products only. In addition to products covered in the EuP, energy-related products that do not use energy directly, like double glazing, taps and showerheads, are also included in the new Eco.
