UL's Furniture & Environment VP and GM Visting
On March 11, 2016, Mr. Alberto Uggetti, vice president & general manager of Furniture and Environment Business Division of UL, came to visit our Company with UL Sales and Engineering Team. The visit intended to discuss cooperation in 2016 and plans for further cooperation.
The relationship between Standard-Tech and Mr. Alberto Uggetti started in 2010. With his help, Standard-Tech became UL’s first lighting PPP (Preferred Partner Program) partner in Asia with the signing of Lighting PPP Agreement between general manager of Standard-Tech and Mr. Alberto Uggetti.
Since 2010, Mr. Alberto Uggetti has been implementing reform policies which have laid a solid foundation for the future development of UL Lighting testing business. Growing rapidly from 2010 to 2015, UL lighting testing business has been holding a safe lead in the global lighting testing arena. It has exerted a huge and profound impact on Standard-Tech. It’s successful win-win cooperation.
This discussion has led to a delightful consensus. Carrying forward the successful cooperation mode, Standard-Tech will continue to support UL’s localization strategy. Both parties have agreed to jointly enhance service quality, and unfold comprehensive cooperation in furniture and environmental testing.
After the meeting, Mr. Alberto Uggetti, led by general manager of Standard-Tech, made his first visit to Standard-Tech International Certification and Testing Tower.
Pointing out that he had long intended to visit, he sent his congratulations on the completion of the Standard-Tech Tower. Amazed by the well-designed building, he commended the regular, impeccable management of the labs. He was particularly amazed by the newly built EMC Lab. Mr. Alberto Uggetti worked at the EMC Lab ten years ago. He was excited that Standard-Tech had stepped into this field and wished new breakthroughs and developments of Standard-Tech.
