ENERGY STAR Specification for Lamps Version 1.1 Published
ENERGY STAR Specification for Lamps Version 1.1 has finalized minor changes on May 23,2014.
The changes described in the proposal letters have been accepted as propsed, with a modification to the diameter to length ratio for globe lamps from 0.90 to 0.80 based on stakeholder feedback. These changes are reflected in an ENERGY STAR Specification for Lamps Version 1.1, which replaces the ENERGY STAR Specification for Lamps Version 1.0.
Partners may begain certifying to Version 1.1 requirements immediately. Currently certified products are not affected, with the exception of any products excluded based on the clarification of decorative globes.
