Detailed Explanation to DLC's Policy Dimming Function Application
From Jul 21, 2014, DLC requests clients to indicate whether the product has the dimming function in the application form.
When submitting new application to DLC, clients are required to:
-- specify whether the product is dimmable.
--The function of the dimmer. For example, the Continuous or StepType dimmer can be equaled by 0-10V level adjustment.
--Whether the minimum adjustable scope is less than 10%.
When introducing dimming function, DLC requires that :
--In accordance with the existing DLC test specifications, each dimming function should be retested.
--If optional dimming function is available for the same series, suffix should be added to the model name to show distinction.
--If it is a single application, the application fee charged by DLC should be $500/per application (no matter whether the product is dimmable).
--If it is a family application, the application fee charged by DLC should be $2000+$25*N. N refers to the number of additional family models.
