EU EMC Directive is Updated to 2014/30/EU
EMC Directive applies to the end products sold in the market. Under some conditions, the parts or installation components that may be purchased by some end users shall comply with the requirements set forth in the Directive, including but not limited to domestic appliances, lighting equipment, IT equipment, ISM equipment and motors.
On Mar 29, 2014, EU promulgated the new version of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive 2014/30/EU to replace the original Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive 2004/108/EC. The new Directive shall come into effect on Apr 20, 2016.
All member countries shall finish the legislative process before Apr 19, 2016.
The Verification of Conformity concerning Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive 2004/108/EC shall be rejected since Apr 20, 2016.
