Recognized CBTL for Wire & Cable
In 2008, with the assistance of related experts from the engineering departments of UL’s branches in Hong Kong and Taiwan, Standard-Tech has successfully passed the rigorous audit of IECEE and became a recognized CBTL (No. TL292, IEC60227) for wire and cable industry.
The CBTL for Wire and Cable established by Standard-Tech assists UL to complete the testing required by different countries for CB certification involving wire and cable. The test reports issued by Standard-Tech are accepted by more than 30 countries around the world and the internationally-renowned certification bodies that are the participants of CB Program, including VDE, NF, Demko, Nemko, Fimko, Semko, and the certification bodies from Australia, Japan, Korea and other countries in South America.
The CB report issued by Standard-Tech can be used to apply for national certifications in these countries without additional testing in most cases and thus the cost will drop dramatically.
